Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra held a meeting with officials of the corporation and Raipur Smart City Limited on Monday. During this, the officers who were negligent in their work were strongly reprimanded. Officers doing good work were honored by giving them diaries and pens.
Expressing his displeasure over the officers not visiting the field, the Commissioner said that all the zone commissioners and engineers posted in the zone have been asked to inspect the field three days a week in the morning and evening.

During this time, officers associated with water work were also instructed to work in the field as much as possible till the month of May. At the same time, the Commissioner has made a list of works. Apart from assigning work to each officer, other officers have also been added to it. The Commissioner has given instructions to work by establishing coordination in all the works.

Deputy Commissioner RK Dongre and zone’s EE Jaspreet Bhamra were honored for their good work in the Gudhiyari fire incident, Executive Engineer Pradeep Yadav and other officers were also honored for planning 150 buses and sending the proposal to the center and getting approval for the buses.
Instructions to complete all smart city projects by June
Abinash Mishra reviewed the ongoing work under the Smart City Mission. During this, people from officers and agencies were involved. In the meeting, all the officers were instructed to do regular monitoring and complete all the projects before June.
Raipur Smart City MD took information about underground cabling, 24X7 project, STP under construction in Shastri Bazaar, Mutton Market, Maharajbandh, Naraiya and Kho-Kho Talab, street lights in the city and other projects and gave instructions to complete them on time.
The MD has said that while completing all the projects, special attention should be paid to the quality and to ensure that the common citizens get the full benefit of basic facilities. During this, Smart City Chief Operating Officer Ujjwal Porwal, General Manager (E.&T) P.K. Panchayati, Deputy General Manager Amit Sharma and representatives of the construction agency were present.
