Instructions for fast deposit of custom milling rice

Collector of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district Mr. P.S. Dhruv made a surprise inspection of Goyal Rice Mill located in Pipariya of Manendragarh block today to take stock of the custom milling status of paddy procured on support price in the district. The collector inquired about the milling of paddy supplied to the millers and instructed to deposit custom milling rice at a rapid pace.
The Collector also observed the process of preparation of fortified rice at Goyal Rice Mill. He instructed the millers to take special care of the quality of fortified rice. The Collector said that in the cabinet meeting held on December 30 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, it has been decided to distribute fortified rice to the ration card holders of the state scheme in all the districts of the state. He directed the millers to operate the mill at full capacity and ensure supply of quality rice to CMR and FR within the stipulated time period. Food Officer Mr. Sanjay Thakur, Tehsildar Mr. Ashok Singh, Naib Tehsildar Mr. Shrikant Pandey were with him on this occasion.
It may be noted that in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district, paddy is being procured at a total of 23 procurement centers on the support price. So far, 5 lakh 7 thousand 182 quintals of paddy has been procured from 10 thousand 733 farmers in the district, out of which 4 lakh 6 thousand 459 quintals of paddy has been lifted by the millers. So far 2 lakh 25 thousand quintals of rice has been deposited by the millers under the CMR quota.
