Creating a positive environment for the students in schools is extremely important and it is equally important to teach them the importance of sports and discipline. Value of time should be learned from student life itself. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel expressed these views today at Professor JN Pandey Government Excellent Hindi Medium School on the occasion of the inauguration of Shala Praveshotsav. Congratulating the students, parents and teachers on commencement of the academic session 2023-24, Chief Minister said that every school is a temple of education and this temple should be kept neat and clean. With the opening of Swami Atmanand schools, the quality of education has significantly improved and people of every section of society are trying to get admission in these schools for their children.
Chief Minister welcomed the students to the school with ‘Tilak’ and sweets
On the occasion of Shala Praveshotsav, Chief Minister welcomed the new students to the school with tilak, garlands and sweets. On this occasion, Chief Minister also distributed uniforms, books and school bags to the school children. He congratulated the students, teachers, principals and parents on the commencement of the new academic session. Chief Minister said that these children are our future and it is our responsibility to provide them proper environment so that they may focus better on their studies.
An amount of Rs 5 crore has been approved for the renovation of the school
Chief Minister sanctioned an amount of Rs. 5 crore for the renovation of the historical Prof. JN Pandey Government Excellent Hindi Medium School, and said that funds will never come in the way of making the temples of education strong, well-equipped and beautiful. Chief Minister said that he had sanctioned an amount of Rs 1200 crore in the budget for the renovation and repair of schools in the state and at present, renovation work of 23 thousand schools is in progress.
Inauguration of 4318 Kindergartens under the second phase of Mukhyamantri Balwadi Yojana
On the occasion of Shala Praveshotsav, 4 thousand 3 hundred 18 kindergartens were virtually inaugurated under the second phase of Mukhyamantri Balwadi Yojana. In these kindergartens, children of age group five to six years will be imparted basic education, taught to play and will be prepared for the school. In the first phase of this scheme, 5 thousand 1 hundred 73 kindergartens were inaugurated on 5 September 2022.
Prof. JN Pandey Government Excellent Hindi Medium School is a historic school that gave us four Chief Ministers and one Vice President
Pro. JN Pandey School was established in the year 1864 and this school has also been affiliated with Calcutta University and Allahabad University. This school has given four chief ministers to the state. Late Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla, Late Shri Dwarka Prasad Mishra, Late Shri Shyama Charan Shukla and Late Shri Moti Lal Vora have been students of this school. Moreover, former Vice President of the country Late Shri Hidayatullah has also been a student of this school.
