Raipur: Chief Secretary took meeting for control and prevention of Kovid-19 virus

Inspection of Tele Consultation Hub, Home Isolation Center, Kovid Tracing Center, Kovid Center

Raipur 12 September 2020. State Chief Secretary  RP Mandal reviewed the work being done for control and prevention of Kovid-19 in Raipur district at State Command and Control Center at New Circuit House here today. He then accompanied the Collector, Senior Superintendent of Police, National Health Mission and Health Department officials, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat along with Telecommunication Hub of Medical College Hospital Raipur, Home Isolation Center built in District Panchayat Office, The Contact Tracing Center, Ayurvedic College and Indoor Stadium Kovid Center were constructed at New Circuit House.

During the meeting, Mr. Mandal emphasized to do as many tests as possible for quick identification and diagnosis of Kovid-19, so that patients can start treatment early and get better treatment. Keeping in view the future, he emphasized on increasing medical facilities for effective control of Kovid from now on and also upgrading the Kovid-Hospital built on the campus of Ayurvedic College to provide oxygen treatment for the severely affected Kovid patients. Asked to provide. Shri Mandal appreciated that the work of corona test in Raipur district has been increased from one thousand to 14 thousand.

On the occasion of the meeting and observation, Collector Dr. S. Bharatidasan, Senior Superintendent of Police, Mr. Ajay Yadav, Director of Health Department Mr. Neeraj Bansod, MD of National Health Mission, Priyanka Shukla, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Shri Vineet Nandanwar was also present.

Mr. Mandal spoke directly to serious patients of Kovid.

Shri Mandal then directly through the patients admitted in the hospitals of Bastar, Mungeli and Bilaspur through video conferencing with Dr. Vishnu Dutt, Superintendent Dr. Vineet Jain, and Dean of the Medical College at the State Teleconsultation Hub set up at Medical College Hospital, Raipur. Talked and went to her well. Physicians in this room not only give new information and guidance to the doctors from time to time, but also make direct contact with the patients and solve their problems. Mr. Mandal also wished him well during his interaction with the serious patients undergoing treatment at the ICU and in the ward and said that he would soon be healthy and return home. The patients said that they are not only getting good medical facilities but also the right guidance and medicines. Shri Mandal congratulated and commended the dedicated doctors for providing continuous medical services in remote areas through tele-conferencing. The Chief Secretary praised the dedicated work being done by Dr. Shailendra, a doctor of Baloda Bazar.

Kovid Tracing Center and Home Isolation Center working 24 hours

In the Kovid Tracing Control Room at the Circuit House, Additional Collector Mrs. Padmini Bhoi said that this center is working in three shifts 24 hours and identifying new patients of Kovid as well as contacting them.

Additional District Magistrate and Nodal Officer Shri Vineet Nandanwar said in the Home Isolation Center of District Panchayat that mobile apps have been made for Kovid patients through which permission for home isolation can be obtained. Here, any person can seek medical guidance from the phone number of the control room. This center is functioning in 24 hours 3 shifts.

Chief Secretary took stock of patients’ food

After this, Mr. Mandal reached the Ayurvedic College and Indoor Stadium and observed the situation here and also took stock of the food given to the patients with the Collector. During the observation, Shri Mandal praised the doctors and other people serving the patients and said that they are doing commendable work of human and public service.
