Instructions to determine milestone to know the progress of schemes.
Raipur 02 December 2020. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain today, Additional Chief Secretary , Principal Secretary , of all departments in the Ministry Mahanadi BhavanTook a meeting of officers of the level of Secretary and Special Secretary (Independent Charge). Discussions were held in the meeting mainly regarding the priorities of the state government and the revenue received for their implementation. In the meeting, departmental secretaries gave information regarding the progress of the schemes. Jain said that the criteria should be set for the success of the implementation of the schemes being run in all departments of the government and based on these, the progress of the schemes will be reviewed. He clearly said that for the benefit of the schemes of the government, the beneficiaries of the same departments should formulate an action plan and implement them effectively by mutual coordination. The beneficiaries of various schemes should be identified. They should be talked about and obstacles in the implementation of the plan should be removed. He has said that the available resources in the state should be used properly. He has also given instructions to form a team of senior officials to understand the good and successful work of other states bordering the states of Chhattisgarh and to implement those plans in the Chhattisgarh environment. Jain directed the departments to ensure the mile stone for reviewing the progress of the schemes and to prepare an action plan for the effective implementation of the schemes.Has given 20 days. Letters have been written to various departments of the Government of India regarding the arrangements required for the state of Chhattisgarh. Mr. Jain has instructed departmental officers to maintain constant contact with the central departments in relation to them.
Amitabh Jain made a total of 84 works undertaken by various departments and investors for the introduction of industrial products in the state.While reviewing the contracts, it has been said that senior departmental officers should be appointed as nodal officers for implementation of these contracts at the ground level and progress towards production. He said that five contracts have been made to make ethanol from sugarcane and five to make ethanol from paddy. Instructions have been given by Mr. Jain to take necessary action to start production. He has said that the plantations should be developed as multiactivity centers. Here the same materials should be made through self-help groups for which the market is already available. Jain has instructed to prepare action plans for processing and marketing of minor forest produce-vegetable-kandamool etc. in the right and quality manner.
Jain has directed the Forest Department , Mineral Department , Transport Department , Energy Department , Irrigation Department , Revenue Department , Urban Administration Department and other departments to increase the revenue of the state, that the implementation of revenue generating schemes by the departments on priority basis.
