Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain has asked all the Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors of the state to make appropriate efforts to provide employment to the beneficiaries receiving unemployment allowance. He instructed the collectors to work under a coordinated action plan to provide loan and equity assistance for startup employment and employment to the beneficiaries of unemployment allowance.
Chief Secretary Shri Jain was addressing the meeting of all Divisional Commissioners and Collectors through video conferencing at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan here today. In the meeting, the officials told that more than 2200 announcements have been completed in the announcements made by the Chief Minister at different places during the meeting program and during his visit to the districts. Rapid action is being taken to complete the remaining announcements. The Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of the most important schemes of the district-wise administration. Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subrata Sahu was also present in the meeting.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of the construction works being done under the Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana. In this regard, the officials said that under the School Jatan Yojana, most important works of construction and repair are being done in various schools. Officials also informed that about 448 Atmanand schools are being set up at different places of the state to provide quality education to the students, the process of posting on academic posts in these schools is going on. The work of admission of students in Swami Atmanand schools is going on continuously. Aadhaar linking with caste certificate, income certificate and bank accounts is being done for scholarship in schools run by School Education Department and Tribal Development Department.
While reviewing the progress of Rural Industrial Park (RIPA), the Chief Secretary directed the officials to provide self-employment to rural women and men on the basis of equality in RIPA. Instructed the officials to set up cow dung paint units in industrial parks and work on necessary infrastructures. In order to connect more and more rural people with self-employment in Ripa, instructions were given to do necessary work in relation to connecting Ripa with industrial groups and private sector. At the end of this month, the Chief Minister will perform Bhumi Pujan of Ripa Urban Industrial Parks being built under 14 municipal corporations and 44 municipalities of the state. Instructions were given to the collectors to make all necessary preparations in this regard.
Chief Secretary Mr. Jain bought cow dung as much as possible in the Gauthans built in the rural areas of the state and inquired about the preparation and sale of vermicompost. He said that to ensure continuous payment to all the farmers of the state under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, all the farmers should be entered in the Bhuniya portal. Under the Kharif program this year, the officers of the Agriculture and Cooperation Department were instructed to make advance preparations to ensure the availability and lifting of adequate fertiliser, seeds, vermicompost to the farmers of the state in cooperative societies.
The Chief Secretary said that all necessary steps should be taken to prevent water-borne diseases during monsoon. Similarly, a campaign should be launched to get rid of sika cell test, malaria and anaemia. He asked for continuous monitoring to solve the problem of drinking water in urban and rural areas. In the meeting, the progress of Jal-Jeevan Mission and preparations for the upcoming Chhattisgarh Olympics were reviewed.
