Awareness, timely diagnosis and correct treatment are the mantras to prevent cancer – Chief Minister Shri Sai

On the occasion of World Cancer Day on February 4, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has appealed to the people of the state to be aware of serious diseases like cancer and get timely tests and treatment done. He said that this day gives us an opportunity to make people aware about cancer prevention, early detection and effective treatment.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is committed to the prevention and treatment of cancer. Many important steps have been taken to strengthen health services in Chhattisgarh. Facilities for cancer screening and treatment are being expanded in government hospitals, so that patients can get accessible and affordable treatment.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that cancer can be prevented by being aware, having regular checkups and adopting a healthy lifestyle. The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle by staying away from unhealthy lifestyle and food habits and said that a healthy lifestyle is the basis of longevity and a healthy life.
