Raipur, 28 November 2022, On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, arrangements have been made for free dialysis for kidney patients in nine districts of the state. This service of the state government is being made available free of cost to sick patients of every category. So far, more than 13 thousand free dialysis sessions have been done in the state.
Free dialysis facility is being provided by the National Health Mission Chhattisgarh in nine districts of the state, Durg, Kanker, Korba, Bilaspur, Jashpur, Surguja, Mahasamund, Bijapur and Rajnandgaon. For this, five machines have been installed in Jashpur, Durg and Kanker districts, four each in Ambikapur and Mahasamund, six in Korba, three in Bijapur and four in Bilaspur (three in Sims Medical College and one in Bilaspur Kovid Hospital). .)
It is notable that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is running several schemes related to health facilities for the convenience of the public. Through these schemes, medicines and better health facilities are being made available free of cost to the common people. Patients who have to undergo dialysis due to kidney disease, they have to spend from one thousand rupees to 15 thousand rupees for one time dialysis in private hospitals. Concerned about the patients suffering from kidney disease, the Chief Minister has made arrangements for free dialysis in nine districts of the state.
So far, 13 thousand 798 free dialysis sessions have been done in these nine district hospitals in the state. Of these, more than 4 thousand 885 sessions were conducted in Durg district, 4 thousand 872 in Korba, 4 thousand 230 in Kanker, 3 thousand 504 in Bilaspur, 2 thousand 631 in Mahasamund, one thousand 390 in Surguja, 942 in Bijapur and 675 in Jashpur. went.
