Raipur: Chief Minister’s big announcement on Teacher’s Day: Swami Atmanand Hindi Medium Excellent Government School will open in every district on the lines of English medium

Raipur, 05 September 2021. On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated R.D., operated under the Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya scheme, located at Amapara in the capital. Inaugurated the upgrade work of Tiwari Government English Medium School. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh should be recognized in the field of education, health and employment. He also made a big announcement to open one Hindi medium school of excellence in each district on the lines of Government English medium school run in the name of Swami Atmanand. He said that the schools which are run in the name of great men in the state are our identity. These historic schools will be upgraded into multipurpose schools. Chief Minister R.D. Approval of Rs. 2 crore was given for the sports ground of Tiwari English Medium School.
In this program on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, 20 outstanding teachers of the state were honored for innovating to keep children engaged with education during the Corona period. He also presented a scholarship check under the Mahtari Dular Yojna to the children who lost their parents during the Corona period.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel congratulated all the teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. Saluting former President and Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, he said that last year due to Corona, the program of Teachers’ Day was organized virtually. The Chief Minister said that earlier only 57 children were studying in RD Tiwari School. Since the beginning of the English medium government school in the name of Swami Atmanand, now about one thousand children are studying here. In the name of Swami Atmanand, three government English medium schools were started in Raipur city, along with children of all classes, such children have also got admission, who belong to financially weak families. The government is bearing the entire cost of the fees, books and uniforms of the children studying here.
The Chief Minister said that in the ‘Shiksha Madai’ organized here, the teachers who innovated during the Corona period include Motor Cycle Guruji, Cinema Wale Babu, Blackboard Guruji, Loud Speaker Class, Angana Education, Muskaan Library, Jugaad Studio, Smart Class, Maati Kala It saw education, puppet shows, instruction in the local language and experiments with aids. Praising the innovations made by the teachers during the Corona period, the Chief Minister said that necessity is the mother of invention. How can we work in crisis in the occasion of Corona disaster, the teachers of Chhattisgarh have not only shown amazing work but have also proved that ‘Chhattisgarhiyan Sable Badhiya’. He said that English medium school was started from Raipur. After this the first 27 in the districts, After that it was increased to 52 on demand and after that now 172 schools are operating. He said that this caravan of Swami Atmanand Excellence Schools in the state would continue to grow even further.
School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, while paying tribute to former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, said that Swami Atmanand operated such a center of education in Narayanpur, Bastar, which was praised throughout the country. Taking inspiration from him, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has started government English medium schools in his name in the state. Better arrangements for education have been made in Swami Atmanand School with good teachers. He told the children that they should study here diligently to live up to the trust of their parents.
Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay and Mayor Raipur Shri Ejaz Dhebar also addressed the program. On this occasion Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, MLA Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, MLA Mrs. Anita Yogendra Sharma, Chairman Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Devangan, Chairman Yoga Commission Mr. Gyanesh Sharma, Chairman Farmers Commission Mr. Surendra Sharma, Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary School Education Dr. Kamalpreet, Collector Mr. Saurabh, CEO of Smart City Raipur Mr. Prabhat Kumar along with administration officials, Principal of the school Mr. RK.
