Request for notification of fast track courts in all districts for speedy hearing of cases related to sexual offenses.

Consent given for all necessary support for fast track court.

 Raipur, 12 October 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court Justice Mr. P.R. In a letter to Ramachandra Menon, requested to notify the required number of fast track courts in all districts for speedy hearing of cases related to sexual offenses. He has given all necessary support from the state government for this. 

 The Chief Minister has written in the letter that sexual offenses against women and children are a matter of grave concern in the country. Although adequate laws have been made on the above subject, yet despite the above types of crimes do not appear to be decreasing and not getting justice in time is also a concern. In cases of sexual offenses against women and children in the state courts, there is a need for prompt and prompt consideration and it is our responsibility that the victims of sexual offenses get speedy justice and the culprits should be punished with extreme punishment at the earliest. 

 Mr. Baghel has written in the letter that it would be appropriate that the required number of fast track courts should be notified in all the districts of the state for hearing of cases related to sexual offenses, in which the time limit for hearing of such cases (which is prescribed ) And day to day Basis. The state government has agreed for all necessary cooperation for this. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has requested Justice Mr. Menon to issue necessary instructions in this matter.
