Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated and wished the people of the state on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. On this occasion, he has wished happiness, prosperity and well-being of all the citizens. In his congratulatory message issued on the eve of Raksha Bandhan festival, Shri Sai has said that ‘Raksha Bandhan’, the festival of affection and trust between brothers and sisters, is an important festival of our culture. On this day, sisters tie Raksha Sutra to their brothers with good wishes and brothers promise to protect them. This festival further strengthens the sacred relationship between brothers and sisters. The Chief Minister said that the festival of Raksha Bandhan makes us aware and committed to respect, security and identity for all women along with our sisters.
