He has made an unprecedented contribution in making Karnataka of South India a developed and prosperous region. He established new standards with his excellent technical skills in the construction of several dams and setting up of several industries including the Krishna Raj Sagar Dam in Mysore. The Chief Minister said that the role of engineers is important in building any nation and state. Sir Visvesvaraya’s dedication and dedication to his work is inspiring and exemplary for all. He has called upon the engineers to take inspiration from the ideals and works of Sir Visvesvaraya and contribute to the creation of the state.
