Raipur: Chief Minister wishes May Day to laborers

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended greetings and best wishes to the Shramveers on the occasion of International Labor Day (May Day). On this occasion, Mr. Baghel has wished all the workers a happy and bright future. Mr. Baghel has said that every year on May 1, we celebrate Labor Day to express our gratitude towards the hardworking workers. It is a day to honor the hard work and dedication of the workers.

Expressing his commitment for the socio-economic welfare of the workers, the Chief Minister said that workers are an integral part of our society and the cornerstone of development. Chhattisgarh government is making every possible effort for the development of all needy people including laborers. Many schemes like Educational Assistance Scheme, Labor Accident Death Assistance Scheme, Free Cycle Distribution Scheme, Free Sewing Machine Scheme and Sewing Machine Training, Chief Minister Labor Tool Assistance Scheme, Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme are being run by the Chhattisgarh Labor Welfare Board. So that along with the workers, their families can also get a happy bright future.

Mr. Baghel has said that in Chhattisgarh traditionally sacks have been a part of the daily food of the laborers. All the nutrients are present in sacks. Along with keeping the body cool in summer, it is also a panacea for increasing digestion power. In view of this, Chhattisgarh has started from last year to show respect to its traditional food, culture and laborers by eating sacks. Mr. Baghel has said that there are many secrets and secrets of a healthy life hidden in our culture and traditions, which we need to know, recognize and adopt. It is very important for us to make our young generation feel proud of our food and culture. Mr. Baghel has appealed that on May 1, Labor Day, along with mother’s athan and gondali, everyone should eat sacks and stale food in every house and feel proud of their culture and heritage.
