Raipur: Chief Minister will release Rs 3.93 crore online to livestock farmers, self-help groups and Gauthans on December 20

Raipur 19 December 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will release an amount of Rs. 3 crore 93 lakh online to the cattle rearing villagers, women’s groups associated with Gauthans and Gauthan committees in the amount transfer program of Godhan Nyay Yojana organized at his residence office at 12 noon on December 20. In which, from December 1 to December 15, in the Gauthans of the state, Rs. 2 crore 63 lakh was paid in lieu of cow dung purchased from cattle rearing villagers, farmers, landless under Godhan Nyay Yojana and Rs. 79 lakh to Gauthan committees and Rs. 51 lakh to women groups. Includes dividend amount.  
The Chief Minister will also launch the Gothan Map App on this occasion. Through this app, all the activities conducted in Gauthan such as dung purchase payment, material produced under income oriented activities of women self help group associated with Gauthan, rate and updated information will be available.
It is worth mentioning here that under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, cow dung is being purchased from the villagers at the rate of Rs. This scheme was started in the state on 20 July 2020 from Hareli festival. From 20 July 2020 to 15 December 2021, 58.32 lakh quintals of cow dung has been purchased, in lieu of which Rs 114 crore has been paid so far to the sellers of cow dung. Women Self-Help Groups are preparing Vermi Compost, Super Compost, Super Compost Plus and other products on a large scale from cow dung in Gauthans. 
So far, 9 lakh 69 thousand quintals of vermi compost and 4 lakh 21 thousand quintals of super compost manure have been manufactured by women’s groups in Gauthans, which can be supplied through societies to various departments of the government and farmers at concessional rates. Used to be. Apart from manure from cow dung, women’s groups are earning profit by manufacturing and selling go-casts, lamps, incense sticks, idols and other materials. Apart from this, various other income-oriented activities are being conducted by women groups in Gauthans, including vegetable and mushroom production, poultry, goat, fish farming and animal husbandry, due to which women groups have received an income of Rs 48 crore 20 lakh so far. are done. There are 9321 women self-help groups directly associated with Gauthans in the state, whose members are about 67, is 272. Joining Gothans and Godhan Nyay Yojana has instilled a new confidence in women’s groups towards self-reliance. Electricity generation has been started in Gauthans by purchasing cow dung. An MoU has been signed between Kumarappa National Paper Institute, Jaipur, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Government of India’s Khadi and Village Industries Board and Chhattisgarh Gau Seva Aayog for making natural paint from cow dung. 
For the conservation and welfare of cow in the state, construction of Gauthans is being done at a rapid pace in the villages. There is better management of livestock care, treatment and free fodder and water in Gauthans. So far, approval has been given for construction of Gauthans in 10584 villages in the State, out of which 7836 Gauthans are built and operated. Out of which 2029 Gauthan has become self-supporting as of today. About 2 lakh rural, animal husbandry farmers are getting benefited from Godhan Nyay Yojana. Women make up 45 percent of those earning extra income by selling cow dung. 89 thousand 892 landless families are also getting benefited from this scheme.
