Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 81 different development works worth Rs 108 crore 78 lakh at Narayanpur district headquarters on 03 February. These include inauguration of 29 newly constructed works worth Rs 22 crore 66 lakh and bhoomi pujan of 52 different development works worth Rs 86 crore 12 lakh.
The newly constructed works that the Chief Minister will inaugurate mainly include new wards with 6 beds each at each place in the sub health centers of Narayanpur B, Nailwad, Palki, Parasgaon at a cost of Rs 12 crore 8 lakh for the expansion of health facilities. Sub Health Center building at Brehbera and Community Health Center at Orchha comprises of 20 bed wards.
Similarly, for expansion of drinking water facility, various works constructed at a cost of Rs 18 crore 42 lakh will be inaugurated. These include installation of solar dual pumps at 88 places under Jal Jeevan Mission at a cost of Rs 13 crore 81 lakh, similarly, solar based tap water supply scheme will be inaugurated in 9 villages at a cost of Rs 4 crore 61 lakh. People of villages Gulumkodo, Lalsuhanar, Nayanar, Chhotesuhanar, Belgaon, Brehbeda, Khadkagaon-B, Mahka (Amasara), Akabeda (Nednar) will be benefited from these schemes.
Apart from this, four different works will be inaugurated under the Water Resources Department at a cost of Rs 19 crore, these include repair work of Palki Stop Dam Causeway at a cost of Rs 48 lakh 13 thousand, repair work of the main canal of the power reservoir at a cost of Rs 98 lakh 80 thousand. CC lining repair, Chhote Suhanar Stop Dam repair work is included at a cost of Rs 46 lakh 47 thousand.
The newly approved works for which the Chief Minister will do Bhoomi Pujan mainly include Rs 8 crore 26 lakh for the establishment of solar based tap water supply scheme in 12 villages. These schemes will be established in Alanar, Handawada, Parlanar, Toynar, Tahkawada, Duseli, Rayanar, Maksoli, Adanaar, Maspi, Adanaar, Amokaal. Apart from this, Bhoomi Pujan of works worth Rs 1 crore 36 lakh will be done for 13 different works including delivery room and accommodation arrangements, CC road, R CC slab culvert in the sub health centers in District Panchayat Orchha.
Similarly, 100 bed maternity and child hospital at a cost of Rs 15 crore, construction of roads at 12 places at a cost of Rs 55 crore 70 lakh, community health center in Chhotedongar at a cost of Rs 02 crore 50 lakh, construction of 6 drains at a cost of Rs 01 crore 33 lakh. The bhoomi pujan of the housing and Anganwadi center will be done under the Special Backward Tribe Group Scheme at a cost of Rs 1 crore 58 lakh.
