Raipur, 01 October 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will give development and construction works to Bemetara district at a cost of Rs 477 crore 62 lakh on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will also distribute a grant-in-aid of Rs 8.94 lakh to 20 beneficiaries under various schemes of the government and sewing machines, sprayers and tricycles to 25 beneficiaries in the Kisan Sammelan organized at Basic Shala Ground of Bemetara district headquarters. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate 65 development works constructed at a cost of Rs 70 crore and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 449 works costing Rs 407 crore.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will also launch the project of generating electricity from cow dung in Gauthan during the program organized at Bemetara. The program included buildings constructed by Rural Engineering Services Department at a cost of Rs 2.07 crore, Anicut cum Causeway including 9 irrigation projects constructed by Water Resources Department at a cost of 31.06 crore, 12 public assets constructed by Panchayat and Rural Development Department at a cost of Rs 72.50 lakh. , 16 roads constructed by the Public Works Department at a cost of Rs 34.75 crore, Will inaugurate bridges and culverts. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will unveil the statue of Mahatma Gandhi installed near Ram Mandir in Ward No. 19 of Bemetara Municipality and will also inaugurate the renovation and beautification work of Gandhi Maidan. An oxygen plant established at the cost of one crore one lakh rupees in the district hospital of Bemetara will also be inaugurated. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will also lay the foundation stone of 449 works costing Rs 407 crore for public convenience and development by various departments, including expansion of drinking water facility, construction of roads, buildings, bridges and culverts.
