Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited the De-Bhawan before laying the foundation stone for the restoration work of the ancient De-Bhawan, which was the residence of Swami Vivekananda during his stay in Raipur. He garlanded the statues of famous social worker Rai Bahadur Bhootnath Dey, social worker Abha Bose and Acharya Harinath Dey at Dey Bhawan. Director of Culture Department Mr. Vivek Acharya apprised the Chief Minister about the outline prepared for developing this building as a memorial.
During this, Swami Sarvettamanand Ji Maharaj, Vice Chancellor of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Belur West Bengal. Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, President of Bhootnath Day Charitable Trust Dr. H.S. Upadhyay, Director of Vivekanand Vidyapeeth Raipur Dr. Omprakash Verma, President of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman Mr. Pramod Dubey, Secretary Culture Mr. Anbalagan P. were also present.
