Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today unveiled the statue of Chhattisgarh’s first freedom fighter Shaheed Virnarayan Singh installed at Bus Stand Durg and former Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh respected late Mr. Motilal Vora installed at Rajendra Park Chowk. Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Panchayat Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Agriculture Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu were also present on this occasion.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel described today as an unforgettable day and said that Vora ji was such a person, who cannot be compared with anyone. He was always dedicated and ready towards his duty. He remained active throughout his life. Starting with the politics of the urban body, he beautified the posts of minister, chief minister and governor. The Chief Minister said that he was rich in prodigious talent. There are many memorable memoirs of Vora ji. There will be few people like him to beautify various posts. The Chief Minister outlined in detail the personality of Vora ji. We all have reminiscences with Vora ji. There are many memories of Vora ji, if you move ahead with those memories, you will be successful. He said that there is a need to imbibe the thoughts of Vora ji in public life.
Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said in his address that Babuji is like a school in himself, all the people who came in contact with him tried to learn from him. Informing about his close relationship with Vora ji, Minister Mr. Sahu said to spend the time of happiness together. Similarly, it was his idea to share the times of sorrow together.

MLA Mr. Arun Vora in his welcome address highlighted the political legacy of Late Mr. Motilal Vora. He said that he is also trying to follow his footsteps. MLA Mr. Arun Vora heartily thanked the Chief Minister for unveiling the statue. Public representatives and prominent citizens of the city were present on the occasion.
