Raipur: Chief Minister took the blessings of elders in old age home, inaugurated physiotherapy center in Sian Vatika

Raipur, 24 November 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel met the elderly people at Aastha Nikunj Sian Vatika (old age home) at Dharampura in Jagdalpur city and took their blessings for the prosperity of the state . Keeping in view the physical need of the old people and old age old people residing in this old age home being operated by the Social Welfare Department, with the help of District Red Cross Society, started the Physiotherapy Center. In this physiotherapy center, other elderly people living nearby will also get the facility of physiotherapy. Along with this, the Chief Minister also gave the gift of physiotherapy on wheel, operated with the help of Red Cross Society. Through this, a vehicle has been arranged to provide home access facility of physiotherapy to the elderly and needy of the district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister received blessings by presenting fruits to the elderly people .

It may be known that Aastha Nikunj Sian Vatika (old age home) is being operated in Jagdalpur’s Dharampura-01 since July 1998. Sian Vatika is being funded by social welfare and operated by Red Cross Society, presently 15 destitute old age people are living here. On this occasion Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Industries Minister Shri Kawasi Lakhma, MP Bastar Deepak Baij, President of Bastar Area Tribal Development Authority Shri Lakheshwar Baghel, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Rekhchand Jain, MLA Chitrakot Shri Rajman Benzam, Mayor Safira Sahu, Municipal Corporation President Kavita Sahu, Commissioner Mr. GR Churendra, IG Bastar Mr. Sundarraj P. Collector Mr. Rajat Bansal, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Jitendra Meena along with public representatives and other officers were present
