Raipur, 02 October 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid homage to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on the occasion of his birth anniversary at his residence office here today. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam was also present on the occasion.
Recalling the contribution of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in the freedom struggle of the country, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that according to the vision of Bapu, the State Government is trying to build new Chhattisgarh by following his ideals including village Swaraj and self-reliance. Remembering former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Chief Minister said that his entire life was devoted to the service of the downtrodden and the country, he was an epitome of simplicity.
