Raipur: Chief Minister solved the problems of farmers pending for two decades in minutes

Raipur 05 June 2022. The Chief Minister solved the problem of two decades of the farmers of Pandarahi in Kanker district within minutes. During the meeting program in Kodagaon of Kanker Vidhan Sabha, the farmer of Pandarahi, Ghasiyaram, presented the problems of the local farmers to the Chief Minister. He told that in 2004, farmers’ land was taken for the reservoir and its compensation was fixed. The scheme in which this compensation was to be received, the scheme itself has now been closed. As a result, compensation could not be received. The Chief Minister said that instead of land, we give land. The farmers said that it would be good if they get compensation. On this, the Chief Minister instructed the officers to make compensation case and check it according to the rules and provide benefits to the farmers.

The Chief Minister also directed for making a medical certificate of a handicapped child and financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh during the meeting. He had food at the village farmer Girwar Sahu. Here he was specially served Lokti, a dish made from Madhuras. During this, Deputy Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha Shri Manoj Mandavi, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Anila Bhediya, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Shishupal Sori, Antagarh MLA Shri Anoop Nag, Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri Rajesh Tiwari and other public representatives were present.

Under MNREGA, do farm leveling, do Kodo-Kutki farming – During the meeting, Bhanbera farmer Mahawar Singh Nureti said that it would have been better if the land reform work had been done in our farm, now we are completely dependent on the forest for livelihood. The Chief Minister gave instructions to the Collector to get the farm leveled through MNREGA. He also suggested the farmers to cultivate Kodo-Kutki-Ragi etc. in these fields. The Chief Minister said that there is a huge demand for these crops in the market and the government is also encouraging the system of their processing.

Important announcements of Chief Minister- Boundary wall will be built in primary school of Kodagaon. Road will be constructed from Kodagaon to Pandripani. A new transformer will be installed in Kodagaon to get rid of low voltage. There will be leveling of the playing field of Kodagaon. Gudhar Dam of Kodagaon will be deepened. Anicut will be built on Chinhar river in Ghaneli Kanhar. A new bridge will be built at Dubli Dam in Talakurra. Solar lights will be installed in Kodagaon.
