Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai will inaugurate the three-day Tatapani Festival and Sankranti Parba on January 14

Balrampur-Ramanujganj district will get the gift of development works worth Rs 167 crore

There will be a confluence of cultural programs of Chhattisgarhi, Bollywood and Bhojpuri artists 

The local culture will be reflected in the tribal fashion walk

The three-day grand Tatapani Mahotsav Sankranti Parba will be inaugurated on January 14 at 12 noon under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai will gift development works worth Rs 167.25 crore to Balrampur-Ramanujganj district, which includes Bhoomi Pujan of 134 construction works to be constructed at a cost of Rs 124.10 crore and inauguration of 58 works constructed at a cost of Rs 43.14 crore. During this three-day Mahotsav organized at Tatapani in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district, Chhattisgarhi, Bollywood and Bhojpuri artists will present spectacular programs in the cultural evening. On the first day of the festival, 300 couples will tie the knot under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. 

    Tribal Welfare and Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam will preside over the inaugural programme of Tatapani Mahotsav Sankranti Parba. On this occasion, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Smt. Uddeshwari Paikra and Smt. Shakuntala Singh Porte, District Panchayat Chairperson Ms. Nisha Netam, Vice-President Smt. Radha Devi Singh Dev, District President Shri Vinay Paikra and Smt. Sharda Devi Singh will be the special guests. Under cultural programmes, Chhattisgarhi singer Garima Diwakar and her team will present Chhattisgarhi songs and students will present cultural programmes.  

    On the second day of Tatapani Mahotsav, a farmer seminar and Panch-Sarpanch conference will be organized under the chief hospitality of Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam. Under the cultural evening, Bollywood composer and singer Mithun and local students will present a tribal fashion walk on January 15. Tatapani Mahotsav will conclude on January 16 at 4 pm in the presence of Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade. Before this, Bhojpuri actress and singer Akshara Singh, school students and Indian Roller Music Band Bhilai will present programs under the cultural program.  

    It is noteworthy that a grand fair is being organized from 14 to 16 January on the occasion of Makar Sankranti festival at Tatapani, which is famous all over the country for its hot water source and religious significance. People from Chhattisgarh as well as neighboring states participate here in large numbers.
