Announcement of giving 50 lakh rupees for the expansion of Vrindavan Bhawan of Mahakul Yadav Samaj

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today participated in the Shri Hari Akhand Sankirtan Naam Yagna (24 guards) program organized by Mahakul Yadav Samaj Seva Samiti at Bagicha in Jashpur district. He prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of Chhattisgarh by duly worshipping Radha-Krishna, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Gauranga Swami at the place of worship. Chief Minister Shri Sai also circumambulated the place of worship while chanting mantras with devotion.
Approval of 50 lakhs for Vrindavan Bhawan expansion and 2.75 crores for indoor stadium
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced Rs 50 lakh for the expansion of Vrindavan Bhawan of Mahakul Yadav Samaj. He also informed that the previously announced amount of Rs 2 crore 75 lakh for the construction of indoor stadium in Bagicha has been approved by the government. Apart from this, Rs 1 crore has also been approved for the construction of Mangal Bhawan in Bagicha Nagar Panchayat area. He said that both these construction works will be started soon.
Yadav Samaj: Protector of Sanatan culture and cow family
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Mahakul Yadav community is doing the important work of keeping the Sanatan culture and traditions alive. The Yadav community has always been the protector and nurturer of cows. Taking this spirit forward, the government is planning to distribute high breed milch cows to BPL families with the help of the National Dairy Development Board.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government has fulfilled most of the guarantees given by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in a short time. Immediately after the formation of the government, 18 lakh houses were approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the first cabinet meeting. Now the eligibility criteria have been expanded to include two-wheeler holders, those with monthly income of more than 15 thousand and limited land holders in the ‘Awas Plus 2.0’ scheme. He appealed to the citizens to register their names by conducting a survey in the Maha Abhiyan being run till April 30.
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than 70 lakh women are being provided Rs. 1,000 per month. The rate per standard sack for tendu leaf collectors has been increased to Rs. 5,500. Facility of visiting pilgrimage sites is being provided through Ramlala Darshan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Tirthdarshan Yojana. Action has been initiated to send the culprits in the PSC scam to jail. On the occasion of National Panchayat Day, the facility of money withdrawal at village level has been started in 10-10 villages of 146 development blocks of the state through CSC and Choice Centers, which will soon be expanded in the entire state.
Concrete initiatives towards Naxal eradication, tourism and industrial development
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that as per the announcement of Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, a massive campaign is being launched to free the state from Naxalism by 31 March 2026. In view of the immense possibilities of tourism in Chhattisgarh, tourism has been given the status of industry. Under the new industrial policy, industrial investment is being promoted in the state, due to which many big investors are setting up factories in the state. Along with this, the rural economy is also being strengthened through processing and value addition of forest products.
On this occasion, Padma Shri Jageshwar Yadav, Chairman of Mati Kala Board Shri Shambhunath Chakraborty, District Panchayat Chairman Shri Salik Sai, Divisional Commissioner Shri Narendra Dugga, Inspector General of Police Shri Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shri Shashi Mohan Singh, Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, Municipal Council Vice President Shri Yash Pratap Singh Judeo, State President of Mahakul Yadav Samaj Seva Samiti Shri Parmeshwar Yadav, District President Shri Ganesh Yadav, Bharat Singh, Councilor Shri Aman Sharma along with several officials, workers of Mahakul Yadav society and a large number of devotees were present.
It is noteworthy that this is the third year of Shri Hari Akhand Sankirtan Naam Yagna organized by Mahakul Yadav Samaj Seva Samiti. The final ceremony of this devotional event, which has been going on since April 22, will be held on April 26.
