Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today participated in the Vikas Bharat Vikas Chhattisgarh program organized at Dussehra Ground Mohla in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district. During this, Chief Minister Shri Sai had a virtual conversation through internet with the sarpanches and villagers of remote Gram Panchayat Kekatitola, Goulitola and Kunjamatola of the district under the Bharat Net project. He took information from the Sarpanch about the ongoing development works in the village. He communicated in Chhattisgarhi with the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Kekatitola.
Chief Minister Shri Sai first communicated with Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Kekatitola Shri Govind Nureti in Chhattisgarhi. He welcomed the Sarpanch with a salute. The Chief Minister asked the Sarpanch whether everything was ready. The Sarpanch told them that everything was ready. He asked the Sarpanch what facilities are there in the Gram Panchayats. Sarpanch said that every type of online facility is being available through Bharat Net project. Gram Panchayat is getting online facilities including birth, death certificate, muster roll and other online facilities and has a good network. The amount of public welfare schemes of the government comes into everyone’s account.
Chief Minister Shri Sai took information regarding receipt of input assistance under Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Krishak Unnati Yojana. Sarpanch told that money has come into everyone’s account. The Sarpanch thanked the Chief Minister for getting the difference amount of paddy procurement price. He told that good facilities are being provided through Bharat Net. Chief Minister Shri Sai asked the Sarpanch to develop the village well. He said that Sarpanches later become MLAs, MPs and even Chief Ministers. Giving information about his tenure, he said that he was a Panch for the first 5 years, after which he rose from Sarpanch, MLA, MP to the post of Chief Minister today. Sarpanch said that the successful Chief Minister AAP has worked very hard. Congratulations on becoming the head of the state. Similarly, Chief Minister Shri Sai interacted with Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Goulitola Shri Nohar Dhanjay and Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Kunjamatola Shri Rajendra Kumar Kanwar through virtual medium and took information regarding rural development.
It is noteworthy that Bharat Net connectivity has started in 144 gram panchayats of the district under the Bharat Net project to connect the rural areas with internet in the aspirational district. Apart from this, the work of providing internet in other gram panchayats is going on at a fast pace. Bharat Net project has connected gram panchayats with broadband connectivity. This has been done to take e-governance, e-healthcare, e-commerce, e-education and public interest access services to Gram Panchayats. To provide broadband internet connectivity to Gram Panchayats. Internet services are being provided in every Gram Panchayat through BharatNet so that every person, especially the people of rural India can access online services.
