‘Niyad Nellanar Scheme’ will be implemented in the villages within 5 kilometer radius of the new 14 camps in the Maoist terror affected area.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai made a big announcement in the Assembly today to start ‘Niyya Nellanar Yojana’ i.e. ‘Your Good Village Scheme’ for the villages of Maoist terror affected areas. Under this scheme, more than 25 basic facilities will be provided in the villages within a radius of 5 kilometers of 14 new camps started in Maoist terror affected areas. Besides, the villagers of these villages will be provided benefits of 32 individual schemes of the government. The new camp will not only be a police camp but also a development camp.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that an additional budget of Rs 20 crore has been made for this scheme, if in future more budget is required from the Center and the State, then the State Government will be committed to providing that also. A dashboard is being prepared to continuously evaluate and monitor the benefits of the schemes, through which it will be continuously reviewed and it will be ensured that no family is deprived of the benefits of this scheme.
Regarding the Niyad Nellanar Scheme, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this scheme has been prepared for the rapid economic development of these villages. The Chief Minister said that 14 new camps have been opened near these villages so that security arrangements can be made and the villagers can be given benefits along with saturation of 32 individual schemes of the government. The Chief Minister said that 14 new camps have been opened near the villages. People living within a radius of 5 kilometers will be provided the same facilities as the beneficiaries of PM Janman Yojana implemented for special backward tribes. During this, Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma was also present.
The Chief Minister said that keeping in view the basic needs of these villages, action will be taken for infrastructure development and proper development of families. In these villages, all the families are provided housing facilities under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, ration cards to all, free rice, gram-salt, jaggery and sugar to all, 4 free gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme, Anganwadi, community hall, similar to the special backward tribes. , Sub Health Centre, Primary School, Irrigation pumps including bore wells for irrigation of farmers, hand pumps, solar pumps, sports ground in every village, free electricity, bank sakhi, ATM, skill development, forest rights lease, mobile tower, DTH and TV. Facilities like helipad and bus facility till block headquarters will be provided. A target has also been set to connect all the villages with all-weather roads.
For the implementation of the scheme, applications will be received in public convenience camps in these villages and it will be resolved on the spot itself. If more budget is required from the Center and the State in future, the government is committed to providing that also.
Former minister and MLA Shri Kawasi Lakhma welcomed
Former minister and MLA Shri Kawasi Lakhma welcomed this scheme of the Chief Minister and said that the tribals of Bastar will benefit from this scheme. He said that at some places roads and villages have not been developed, that direction will also be given attention in this scheme.
