Baiga, Gunia, Sirha will get Samman Nidhi of 5 thousand rupees every year

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today honored the protectors of tribal tradition, Baiga, Gunia and Sirha, by presenting them shawls and coconuts in a program organized at the Circuit House after the meeting of Bastar Development Authority.
The Chief Minister said that Baiga, Gunia and Sirha of the tribal community will now be given Samman Nidhi of Rs 5,000 each every year. This initiative is an important step towards promoting the cultural traditions of the tribal society as well as their economic empowerment.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to the preservation and development of the culture and traditions of the tribal society. Such decisions will prove helpful in making the tribal areas of Chhattisgarh self-reliant and increasing their pride. During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of preserving the traditions of the tribal community and making them partners in the development of the society. During this, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, MLA Jagdalpur Shri Kiran Dev, former MLA Mahesh Gagda and local public representatives were present.
