Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai honoured Mitanins from various parts of the state for their outstanding work in the health sector at ‘Nava Saugat’

The Chhattisgarh Government, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is making tireless efforts for women empowerment. Recently, the Shri Sai government has taken an initiative to benefit the Mitanins of the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai has transferred incentive amounts through the online mode into the Mitanins’ bank accounts on July 12. At the “Nava Saugat” program organised at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Sai transferred a total of Rs. 90.08 crore as an incentive into the accounts of about 73,831 Mitanins, trainers, and coordinators across the state.

At the “Nava Saugat” program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai also honoured Mitanins from various parts of the state for their outstanding work in the health sector. He honoured Mitanin Madhuri Paikra from Bagiya village in Jashpur district. The Chief Minister presented her with a “Mitanin Passbook,” along with a shawl and shreephal. On this occasion, Shri Sai interacted with several Mitanins, including Mulika Bai, a Mitanin from Behrakhar (Rengari) village panchayat of Kunkuri tehsil, Jashpur district.

During this event, Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated all Mitanins and stated that his government is working with complete transparency and following the principles of good governance. He emphasised that the invaluable contribution of over 70,000 Mitanins working across the state has helped achieve unprecedented improvements in maternal and infant mortality rates. He added that the Mitanins are the foundation of Chhattisgarh’s health system, working honestly even in remote areas.
