Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today participated in the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized at Ashoka Palm Meadows Colony in Dunda, capital Raipur. On this auspicious occasion, he prayed to Lord Krishna and Shri Radha Rani for the happiness, prosperity, peace and auspicious life of all the people of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister bowed to the dias and took blessings from Kathavyas Pandit Shri Krishna Gaud Shastri and listened to the Sri Krishna-Sudama episode.

Chief Minister Shri Sai warmly welcomed Kathavyas Pandit Shri Krishna Gaud Shastri to the holy land of Mata Kaushalya, Chhattisgarh. He said that listening to the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is a matter of great fortune. It not only provides spiritual peace, but also inspires us to move forward on the path of religion, love and duty. I hope that all the devotees will imbibe the divine message of this story and adopt it in their lives. May Lord Krishna give strength to all of us so that we can serve the people of Chhattisgarh with full dedication and devotion.
Chhattisgarh – The place where Lord Shri Ram lived in exile, special arrangements for Ram devotees in Maha Kumbh
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that most of the time of Lord Shri Ram’s exile period was spent in Chhattisgarh, and here he is respected as “Bhancha”. He informed that the Chhattisgarh government has so far provided the privilege of darshan of Shri Ramlala in Ayodhya Dham to more than 20,000 Ram devotees under the “Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana”. Along with this, Chief Minister Shri Sai, while underlining the importance of Prayagraj Mahakumbh, said that this auspicious coincidence has come after 144 years, and the Chhattisgarh government has made special arrangements of ‘Chhattisgarh Pavilion’ in Mahakumbh for the devotees. Free accommodation, food and other facilities have been provided in this pavilion, so that the devotees going from Chhattisgarh can bathe, have darshan and perform religious rituals conveniently.
Congratulating all the organizers for the successful organization of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, the Chief Minister said that such spiritual events spread positive energy and religious consciousness in the society.
On this occasion, organizers of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha including Mr. Bhupendra Savnani, Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, Mr. Saral Modi, local dignitaries and a large number of devotees were present.
