Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel reached Nathianwagaon in Kanker district today to pay tribute to the Deputy Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Late Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi and attend the peace-banquet program. He reached there Mata Tripura Sundari temple and offered prayers. The Chief Minister paid homage to the Deputy Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Late Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi by laying flowers at his Samadhi. Chief Minister Shri Baghel remembered Late Shri Manoj Singh Mandavi and said that he was a simple, easy-going, soft-spoken popular leader. He always kept strongly raising the problems of his area in the assembly. The Chief Minister consoled and consoled the bereaved family of Late Shri Mandavi. He said that late Shri Mandavi was known as a politician from his student life. He was first elected a member of the undivided Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in the year 1998. In the same tenure, when the newly formed Chhattisgarh state was formed, he was given the responsibility of the Minister of State for Home, after which in the year 2013 and 2018 he was elected as a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and in the year 2019 he was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. His demise is an irreparable loss for all of us, Kanker district as well as the entire state of Chhattisgarh.
