Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Baghel prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state by offering prayers to Mata Kaushalya and Lord Ram on Ram Navami.

Raipur, 10 April 2022. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today offered prayers to Mata Kaushalya at Chandkhuri, Raipur on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. Reaching Chandkhuri this afternoon, the Chief Minister bowed his head at the temple of Mata Kaushalya and offered prayers by law and wished for the happiness and prosperity of all the people of the state.

Shri Baghel greeted the country and the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami from the land of Mata Kaushalya.

After visiting Kaushalya Mata, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that this holy place has been developed according to the sentiments of the people. Jyoti Kalash has been made with temple beautification. He said that due to the development of this place, people have benefited from religious as well as tourism point of view. Now people from Raipur, Durg Bhilai come here on weekends, take virtuous benefits after visiting Mata Kaushalya and also go around.

After offering prayers, Mr. Baghel said that Mata Kaushalya is the daughter of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and from this relationship Chhattisgarh is the maternal grandmother of Lord Ram and Lord Ram is our nephew. The Chief Minister said that nephews have special importance in the family fabric of Chhattisgarh. Here there is a different affection and attachment from nephews. In such a situation, following the ideals of Lord Ram, all of us are working for the development of the state and for the welfare of all people. The Chief Minister said that the state government is developing the places where Lord Ram had passed during his exile in Chhattisgarh as tourist places.
  On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission Rajeshree Mahant Dr. Ramsunder Das were also present.
