Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel commenced his Bhent-Mulaqat tour in Bilaspur division from Marwahi assembly constituency. There, Chief Minister prayed for happiness and prosperity of people of the state and performed customary rituals at the ancient temple of Mata Nageswari at Marwahi. He also unveiled a life size statue of tribal leader Late Dr. Bhanwar Singh Porte in the college premises of Marwahi. In response to the request of localites, Chief Minister announced commencement of post-graduate classes in Rani Durgavati Government College, Marwahi, establishment of a polytechnic college, construction of an asphaltized road to the government college for improving the status of higher education in the village. He also announced construction of Anicut-cum-causeway on Daldali Nala, and opening of a primary health center in village Andi for healthcare facilities. New setup for the center and a new police station at village Seoni, Khodari, Kodgar was also announced. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the new Tehsil building at Marwahi, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs.71.12 lakh.

At the onset. Chief Minister inaugurated the Bhent-Mulaqat program by lighting the lamp and garlanding the oil painting of Chhattisgarh Mahtari. In his address to the audience, Chief Minister said that only two years have passed since the formation of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, but the development of this region is in a full swing. Public facilities are being developed continuously in the district. New offices are being started. During the meeting, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Naror, Narendra Singh Maravi openly praised the government schemes and said that the schemes of state government, especially Godhan Nyay Yojana, have brought prosperity in the lives of the villagers. He complained about the encroachment of the pasture on government land by a local person. Besides, there was a demand for community building in the village, on which Chief Minister directed the District Collector to examine demand and take necessary action. Mrs. Rukhmani Das Manikpuri of village Kargikala demanded accommodation from the Chief Minister. She said that she did not have a residence. Chief Minister directed the Collector to ensure the availability of housing facility to Rukmani and provide her the benefit of government schemes. Chief Minister presented a check of Rs 10,000 to  Rukhmani Das Manikpuri, as compensation amount. Praising the Haat Bazar Clinic scheme, Mr. Vishal Ureti of Kargikala said that Haat Bazar Clinic is organized regularly in his village and he avails the free check up and treatment facility there, whenever he is sick.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel interacted with Kanchi Ghritesh, a student of Swami Atmanand School. Chief Minister told the student that he would ask questions in Chhattisgarhi, which the student would have to answer in English. To which the student also replied in fluent English. Chief Minister discussed about the education and facilities in the school and motivated Kanchi for regular studies.
Meanwhile, Regional MLA Dr. K.K. Dhruv, Bilaspur MLA Dr. Shailesh Pandey, Member of Chhattisgarh Scheduled Tribes Commission Mrs. Archana Porte, Member of Chhattisgarh Youth Commission Mr. Uttam Vasudev, Bilaspur District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Arun Singh Chouhan were also present.
