Raipur, 10 November 2020. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam have saluted him on the birth anniversary of Maulaba Abul Kalam Azad, the great Indian freedom fighter and the country’s first education minister. Recalling the contribution of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Mr. Baghel has said that wherever democracy is, education is its prime minister. Education is an important tool for everyone to achieve success in life and do something different. Education helps in coping with challenges in difficult times of life. The knowledge gained during the entire learning process makes all of us self-reliant towards life. Education opens various doors for opportunities to achieve better prospects in life.
The Chief Minister and the Minister of School Education have congratulated all the teachers, parents, children and common citizens on National Education Day for knowing the importance of education to maintain the teaching-learning process in the time of Kovid-19. The Corona warriors continued the process of education even under adversity. Despite the closure of the school, the education process is still going on. This is a true tribute to the first Education Minister of our country, in whose memory National Education Day is celebrated. Schools, colleges, universities were established during the tenure of the first Education Minister of Azad India. He has made a huge contribution in the field of education.
