Raipur, 22 June 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tributes to the freedom fighters Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and the late Chandrasekhar Azad on his birth anniversary. Recalling his struggle for freedom, Mr. Baghel said that Tilak ji and Azad ji devoted their lives to patriotism and continued to struggle for freedom till the last moment of life.
Mr. Baghel said that revolutionary sentences like Lokmanya Tilak’s ‘Swaraj is my birth right and I will take it’ inspired millions of Indians for freedom. Inaugurating the Ganesh festival in Maharashtra, he initiated a wonderful confluence of social harmony. Recalling the sacrifice of Shri Chandrashekhar Azad, the Chief Minister said that Azad ji’s sacrifice gave energy to thousands of youth. His patriotism still inspires people. Mr. Baghel said that the immortal sacrifice of great men for freedom will always inspire us.
