Raipur, 12 November 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to the famous Hindi litterateur Shri Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh, remembering him on his birth anniversary on November 13. The Chief Minister has said that Shri Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh left an indelible mark in many genres of literature with his writings. As a poet, critic, essayist, story writer and novelist, he gave invaluable literature to the readers. In his writings, there is a living testimony of his sharp and intense ideology. He is also considered a bridge between progressive poetry and new poetry.
Mr. Baghel said that it is a matter of pride for us that Rajnandgaon was the sanskar-dhani of Chhattisgarh, the strong signature of Hindi literature and the work of the great poet Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh ji of this era. In order to preserve their memories, the government has done the work of restoration of Srijan Samvad and Muktibodh Memorial Museum and Triveni Complex in Rajnandgaon on priority.
