Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel released Dr. Gitesh Kumar Amrohit’s book – ‘Baasi’ at his residence office here today. Dr. Gitesh Amrohit told the Chief Minister that Basi is an integral part of the folk culture of Chhattisgarh. Last year, Bore Basi Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in the entire state as well as in foreign countries. Inspired by this event, he got the idea of writing a book on Baasi. In this book, various information related to stale, such as the method of making stale, nutrients of stale, benefits of eating stale in various diseases, importance of stale in the public life of Chhattisgarh and other characteristics of stale have been compiled. Last year, Bore Basi Day was also celebrated in foreign countries, about which information has also been given in the book. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel congratulated Dr. Gitesh Amrohit on the publication of the book. Shri Akash Maheshwari and Shri Ashish Raj Singh and others were present on the occasion.
