Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, who reached Ghumka village of Dongargarh assembly in Rajnandgaon district, made several important announcements for the people of the region on the demand of public representatives and villagers. He announced to make Ghumka a Nagar Panchayat, to open Swami Atma English Medium School in Ghumka. In relation to the earlier announcement of making Ghumka a Tehsil, the Chief Minister said that within the next three months, the Tehsil office of Ghumka would start functioning as a full-fledged Tehsil. He inaugurated branch of cooperative bank at Baghera, canal lining at Ruse Dam canals, widening of Ghumka to Gopalpur road, canal lining at Tendunala reservoir and its expansion, canal lining at Jewar Katta reservoir, Higher Secondary Schools of Haduva, Khara and Murmunda High School.
