Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Chhura, a tribal-dominated village of Rajim Vidhan Sabha in Gariaband district, during a meeting today. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was warmly welcomed by public representatives and officials at the helipad located at Mini Stadium in Chura. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel started the meet-and-greet program with worship of Chhattisgarh Mahatari and state song in Chhura village of Gariaband district. Culture Minister and in-charge minister of the district Mr. Amarjit Bhagat and Rajim MLA Mr. Amitesh Shukla were present in the program.
While interacting with the farmers, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel urged them to donate for cow service. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel gave information about all important schemes including Farmers Loan Waiver Scheme, paddy purchase at the highest rate in the country, Godhan Nyaya, Suraji Gaon Yojana Narva, Garwa, Ghuruva, Bari Yojana, Chief Minister Suposhan Abhiyan, Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitan Gave. He said that as soon as we came into the government, fulfilling our promise, we made a plan to waive off farmers’ loans. Taking feedback, he started direct dialogue with the common people.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel also gave many gifts to the people of the area during the meeting at Chhura in Rajim Vidhansabha. He made registrar office in Chhura, subdivision of Chhura, arrangement of lighting in the stadium located in Chhura, construction of Hindi Medium Swami Atmanand School building in Chhura, construction of ITI building in Chhura, making village Panduka sub-tehsil, beautification of Sargabundia pond, development of villages in Chhura. Construction of 33/11 KV sub-station at Pankiya, announced upgradation of high school in village Pankiya to Higher Secondary School.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel distributed checks of material and assistance amount to the beneficiaries
In the meet-meet programme, distributed checks of material and assistance amount to the beneficiaries under the departmental schemes. In the programme, nets, ice boxes and growth promoters were provided to 16 beneficiaries of the fisheries department. Similarly, knapsack sprayer to 5 beneficiaries by Agriculture Department, cycle to 20 girl students of Swami Atmanand School Chura under free Saraswati Cycle Scheme by Education Department, tricycle to 1 beneficiary under Social Welfare Department, electronic cycle to 2 beneficiaries, wheel chair to 2 beneficiaries. And hearing aids were distributed to 10 beneficiaries. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel gave a check of Rs. 80 thousand each to 5 women self-help groups under Women and Child Development Department, a check of Rs. 1 lakh to one beneficiary under Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
Villagers are being treated in Haat Bazar Clinic
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, resident of village-Kharma, Mr. Gaukaran Ghritalhare told that he was a patient of sugar, Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana’s vehicle comes regularly to our market, got treatment from there, he got good treatment did. Free treatment is being provided by good doctors.
The Chief Minister had a conversation with Sakshi Sahu, a student of Swami Atmanand School, in Chhattisgarhi, to which Sakshi replied in English and thanked the Chief Minister that due to his initiative, we are getting good facilities for free English medium education in the school. The Chief Minister told him that Sanskrit and Raj Bhasha Chhattisgarh would be taught one day a week in all the Swami Atmanand English medium schools in the state. In a meeting organized at Chura, he said that Sanskrit is the most ancient language of the country. Chhattisgarh government is working to preserve the importance of this language. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel took information from the villagers about the ration they get from the fair price shop. The female beneficiary told that she is getting 55 kg rice and two kg salt for free. Manisha Yadav told that I am a student of class XII, I want to study further but the financial condition is not good,
Loan waiver of farmers of Chhattisgarh
Taking advantage of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmer Mr. Awadh Ram said that his loan of 3 lakh 55 thousand has been waived. I sell paddy worth Rs 14 lakh every year at the support price. Till now I have got 3 lakh rupees from Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, from which I have taken the harvester in installments this year. Took 9 lakh cash for this. He told that this time the income would be good if the price of paddy is Rs 2640, due to which it would be very convenient to pay the instalment. Farmer Avadh Ram told that he has built a new house. Married 5 children in the family. No loan was taken in this marriage. If your government remains, we will take 1 acre of land every year.
After the meeting at Chhura, the Chief Minister reached among the people to collect applications, on this occasion he also took a selfie with the children of Swami Atmanand.
