Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has paid his tributes to the martyrs of Kargil War while saluting the valor of Indian soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas 26th July. Shri Baghel said that on 26 July 1999, Indian Army succeeded in ‘Operation Vijay’ by freeing Kargil from infiltrators even in adverse circumstances with its indomitable courage and valor. In the memory of this day, we celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas every year. It is a day to show respect and gratitude to the brave sons of the country. This day reminds of the duties towards the country, and teaches that the country is above all. It is a proud day for the whole country.
