Raipur, 01 February 2022. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to Chhattisgarh’s eminent journalist and former MP Late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar on his death anniversary on 2nd February. Recalling the invaluable contribution of Mr. Chandrakar, Mr. Baghel has said that the son of Chhattisgarh, Chandulal ji served the country and the state while being a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, taking care of the ministerial responsibilities of important departments. As the President of Chhattisgarh State Nirman Sarva Party Manch, he gave a new direction to the Chhattisgarh State Movement.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Chandulal ji is also known for value based fair and fearless journalism. He fearlessly raised his voice on many burning issues. He has illuminated the name of Chhattisgarh in the country with his strong personality and fearless journalism. The state government has established Chandulal Fellowship in the field of journalism in his memory so that his values can be passed on to the next generation of journalism. The Chief Minister said that service to the motherland, his invaluable thoughts will always inspire the new generation.
