Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has paid tribute to freedom fighter and pioneer of farmer Satyagraha in Chhattisgarh Babu Chhotelal Srivastava on his death anniversary on July 18. Recalling the contribution of Babu Chhotelal Srivastava, Shri Sai said that ‘Babu Saheb’ played an important role in awakening the public in Chhattisgarh. Under his leadership, farmers conducted ‘Kandel Canal Satyagraha’ against exploitation and injustice. He also played an important role in igniting the freedom movement in the state. Shri Sai said that ‘Babu Saheb’ was a true symbol of determination and resolve. His life and thought values will always inspire us.
