Raipur : Chief Minister Participates in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' Program

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at Swadeshi Bhavan, Shanti Nagar, in the capital city of Raipur today. The event was also attended by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, and Chief Minister’s Advisor Shri Pankaj Jha.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that on the last Sunday of every month at 11 am, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shares new insights through ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He mentioned that today, the Prime Minister highlighted the work of women from the self-help group in Attapadi village, Kerala, who have created a branded product with their ‘Maruthumbi’ umbrellas, leading to an increase in their sales. Under the leadership of Modi Ji, athletes in our country are being given exceptional opportunities in various sports, allowing them to achieve great success both nationally and internationally.

Chief Minister Shri Sai referred to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ (Ek Ped Ma ke Naam) campaign and appealed to the people of the state to plant a sapling in their homes, gardens, fields, and surrounding areas in the honour of their mothers. He emphasized that if India’s 140 crore population plants even one sapling each, it would lead to a significant environmental revolution.  Sports Minister Shri Tankram Verma said in his address that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is fulfilling the aspirations of millions of people across the country through ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The event was attended by a large number of listeners, including Shri Lokesh Kawadiya, Shri Nitin Patel, Shri Anup Khelkar, Sudip, and Shri Pritam Mahanand.
