Raipur : 03December 2022, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel paid floral tributes to the portraits of first President of independent India and freedom fighter Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad and the magician of hockey Major Dhyan Chand at his residence office here today. Today marks Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s birth anniversary and Major Dhyan Chand’s death anniversary. Recalling the contribution of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Rajendra Babu was an Indian politician, lawyer, Indian independence activist, and scholar. He played an important role in shaping the Indian constitution as the President of the Constituent Assembly. Dr. Rajendra Prasad presented an example of independent and fair work while serving as the President. His great life values and invaluable thoughts will continue to inspire us.Chief Minister Shri Baghel recalled the achievements of the magician of hockey Padma Bhushan Major Dhyan Chand on his death anniversary and his invaluable contribution in the field of sports, saying that India won three gold medals in the Olympic Games due to the magical game of Major Dhyan Chand.
