Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to Rani Laxmi Bai, the heroine of the first Indian freedom struggle, on the occasion of her birth anniversary on November 19. He said that Rani Lakshmi Bai sacrificed her life for the protection and honor of her motherland. Rani Laxmibai courageously opposed the oppressive policies of the British and did not give up till the last moment of her life. Mr. Baghel said that the indomitable courage and bravery of Rani Laxmi Bai is a source of inspiration for millions of women even today.
