Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to the founder of Pushtimarg, Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya, on the occasion of his birth anniversary on April 16. Mr. Baghel has said that Mr. Vallabhacharya was born in Champaran of Chhattisgarh on the Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Vaishakh month. Due to this, he had a deep connection with here. Vallabhacharya ji, the leader of the Bhakti-time Shri Krishna Bhakti branch, was an exclusive devotee of Shrinath ji. He composed many texts describing the nature and pastimes of Shri Krishna. He showed the path of devotion full of love and affection to Shri Krishna as Pushtimarg. Many people adopted Pushtimarg. His famous disciple Surdas ji carried forward his legacy and wrote many famous compositions for the melody of Krishna’s love. Mr. Baghel has said that the land of Chhattisgarh has also been blessed by the birth of a legend like Vallabhacharya.
