Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to former Prime Minister Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary on 02 October. He has said in his message that Shastri ji lived a simple life and dedicated his entire life to the service of the poor. In fact he was a true Gandhian. He had an important contribution in the Indian freedom struggle. He provided efficient leadership to the country during the India-Pakistan war of 1965 and boosted the morale of the people by giving the slogan ‘Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan’, which united the entire country. Shri Baghel said that Karmayogi like Shastri ji will always keep inspiring people.
