Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has paid tribute to Babu Chhotalal Srivastava on his birth anniversary. The Chief Minister said that ‘Babu Saheb’ has played an important role in creating public awareness for independence in Chhattisgarh. He awakened the feeling of patriotism among the people and connected them with the freedom struggle. Due to raising voice against exploitation and injustice under the leadership of Babu Chhotalal, his birthplace Kandel village has been recorded in history due to Kandel Canal Satyagraha. Shri Sai said that the thoughts of Babu Chhotalal Srivastava, who has a dutiful and fighting personality, will always inspire us.
