On the request of Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Backward Classes Welfare Association, requested to give time for meeting
The Sangh met the Chief Minister and requested the Governor to give him time regarding various pending demands.
The demand to implement 27 percent OBC reservation at the earliest was placed prominently after meeting Chief Minister Mr. Baghel.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has written a letter to Governor Mr. Vishwabhushan Harichandan, requesting him to give time for meeting on the request of Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has written in the letter that during the OBC Mahasammelan organized in Raipur on August 27, 2023, I have been requested by Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association that they want to meet you regarding their pending demands. Accordingly, please allot time to the delegation of Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association and consider their demands sympathetically.
It is worth mentioning that the Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and the Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association met the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday and placed their demand in the context of providing proper benefits to the OBC class in the public welfare schemes of the government. In which the Sangh had prominently placed the demand to implement 27 percent OBC reservation at the earliest. On this occasion, the Sangh had also requested Chief Minister Mr. Baghel to get time from Governor Mr. Vishwabhushan regarding various pending demands, in view of which the Chief Minister has written a letter to the Governor on the request of the Sangh.
