Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to return the amount to the aggrieved investors: Chief Minister

Today an amount of Rs 4 crore 13 lakh 88 thousand 996 was returned to 35 thousand 378 victim investors.

37 crore 92 lakh 99 thousand 656 rupees have been returned to 81 thousand 204 victim investors so far

As per his promise, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is returning the amount to the victims of chit fund investors. The Chief Minister today returned an amount of Rs 4 crore 13 lakh 88 thousand 996 to 35 thousand 378 aggrieved investors of 7 districts of the state from his residence office in the capital. On the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, so far an amount of Rs 37 crore 92 lakh 99 thousand 656 has been returned to 81 thousand 204 victim investors of the state, 462 cases have been registered against 208 chit fund companies and more than 700 directors / The officials have also been arrested.

The Chief Minister today returned the amount looted by chit fund companies to 35,378 investors in Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Manendragarh, Korea and Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki districts. In this, one crore 44 lakh 37 thousand rupees have been returned to 13 thousand 676 investors of Raipur district, Rs 84 lakh 55 thousand to 16 thousand 615 investors of Bilaspur district today.  

Similarly, Rs 1 crore 10 lakh was given back to 4835 investors of Rajnandgaon district and Rs 12 lakh 55 thousand to 43 investors of Dhamtari district. An amount of Rs 44 lakh 41 thousand 895 was transferred to 110 investors of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district, Rs 17 lakh 18 thousand 960 to 94 investors of Korea district and Rs 54 thousand 100 to 5 investors of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh district Is.

Addressing the beneficiaries online, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country where the money of the aggrieved investors has been returned by taking action against the chit fund companies. The Chief Minister said that seeing the action taken by us, now other states are also asking us how this has been possible. The Chief Minister said that all this has been possible only because of the faith of the people of the state.

The Chief Minister said that I had promised you that the chit fund companies who cheat you and loot your hard-earned money will not be spared. Legal action will be taken against them and investors’ money will be returned. We made an action plan to return the investors’ money from chit fund companies and fixed a deadline for its implementation. The officers are working hard on this and by taking continuous action against the fake companies, the amount is being returned to the investors.  

State Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, who joined the program online, said in his address that it is the result of the far-reaching thinking of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel that today investors are getting back the money which they had stopped thinking about. Mr. Sahu specially thanked the Chief Minister for providing justice to the aggrieved investors.

Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, who was present during the programme, said in his address that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, the money of the victimized investors is being returned continuously and this work will accelerate even more in future. Mr. Dahria said that the Chief Minister is doing the work of fulfilling his promise to the people of the state very well.
