Tributes paid to the dead

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached village Soram to meet the bereaved Sahu and Dhruv families of Dhamtari district. The Chief Minister consoled the relatives of the Sahu family Suruj Bai Sahu, Rahul, Atul, Sabhya, Jayansh and the family at Soram, Dhamtari, the ancestral village of the deceased and paid tribute to the deceased. During this, the Chief Minister gave a check of Rs. 40 lakh to Mr. Rahul Sahu, son of the deceased Sahu family, as an aid amount of Rs. 4 lakh each and a check of Rs. It is known that 10 members of Soram’s Sahu family and 1 member of Dhruv family died in a road accident between Charama-Jagatara on May 3.
The tragic incident took place when a Bolero and a truck going for a marriage function collided near Balodgahan between Purur and Charama in Balod district. The Chief Minister had given instructions to the officers of the district administration to provide all possible help to the families of the deceased. Along with this, he had announced to provide financial assistance of four lakh rupees to the families of the deceased in this incident.
During this, former MLA Mr. Gurmukh Singh Hora, District Panchayat member Gariaband Mrs. Laxmi Sahu, Milk Federation President Mr. Vipin Sahu, Balod MLA Mrs. Sangeeta Sinha were present.
