Raipur: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid a courtesy call to the heads of various societies and officials of organizations

Raipur, 04 January 2021. Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel paid a courtesy visit to various social, youth, sports organizations, heads of society, advocates’ union officials and dignitaries of the city at the New Circuit House on Sunday, January 3 during the Bilaspur visit.

During this, Mr. Baghel exchanged greetings of the new year with the people. Various organizations thanked the Chief Minister on behalf of the Bilaspur people for giving them development works worth about 650 crores during his stay in Bilaspur. The Chief Minister performed Bhumi Pujan of Bilaspur’s two barrage costing Rs 100 crore for the conservation and promotion of the Arpa river. Due to this, in the future, there will be water in the river again and again and the water level of the city will increase, so that the residents will get relief from water scarcity.
During the meeting, Singraul society presented a check of Rs 52 thousand 100 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Mr. Baghel. The Chief Minister released the new calendar of Singraul Society and District Advocates Association. The sisters of the women’s self-help group of village Shivatarai of Kota area met courtesy and informed about the production of vermi compost fertilizer from Gauthan. As a Chief Minister, Gauthan is being developed as a livelihood store. This is also increasing the income of self-help groups. Vermi compost fertilizer has been increased from Rs 8 per kg to Rs 10 by the state government. For which the women of the group thanked the Chief Minister.
During the courtesy call, Minister of Public Works, Home, Jail, Religion, Tourism and District Incharge Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Alang, Inspector General of Police Mr. Ratan Lal Dangi, Collector Dr. Sansa Mittar, Superintendent of Police Mr. Prashant Agarwal and other distinguished citizens was present.
